  4. What can I do if the insurance company’s check doesn’t cover the entire restoration cost?
    Do not cash the check if it doesn’t cover the entire cost of restoration. Allow your contractor or Damage Restoration Company to assist you in reviewing what the insurance company has approved in order to make sure everything has been addressed properly.
